The driver spots that were still undecided when LEXUS Racing announced its 2014 racing program recently were finally announced on Februry 10th. For the GT500 class LEXUS TEAM WedsSport BANDOH, the new driver pair will be Juichi Wakisaka and Yuhi Sekiguchi.
Juichi Wakisaka is a three-time GT500 champion among other achievements, and he is recognized as one of the leading drivers in SUPER GT. Yuhi Sekiguchi is and aggressive 26-year-old who competed in the GT500 class for the first time last season, driving a Nissan GT-R. As they were last year, the team's race number will be 19 and tire supplier will be Yokohama.
